HOW IT STARTED
I started walking dogs, $10 a walk, and shared the journey online. I expected a few walks and some kind comments. What happened instead was a community.
People followed along, shared the videos, donated, and cheered us on. Then a local bakery, Icing on the Cake, joined in with Rowan’s Chocolate Dream Cupcake.
Strangers showed up for cupcakes, for Rowan, and for us. For the first time in a long time, our family felt truly seen.
